Pharmacy Technician, IV Sterile Compounding - Long Term Care - 2nd shift in Cleveland, OH

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Long-Term Care Pharmacy is seeking an IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join their team for a full-time role. The technician will work closely with the IV Manager to support the daily operations of the infusion department, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines, as well as the company s quality and customer service standards.

Schedule:

• Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Weekend Rotation: Every third weekend

Job Duties:

• Perform IV sterile compounding in compliance with safety standards.
• Accurately prepare and fill IV medication orders, including calculations of doses.
• Maintain sterile techniques in all tasks performed.
• Assist with other tasks within the infusion department as needed.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Active OH Pharmacy Technician license in good standing (no negative history).
• Certification: PTCB certification is required.

Experience:

• 2+ years of IV Sterile Compounding experience is required.
• Previous hospital or long-term care pharmacy experience is required.
