Work Environment: Home Infusion Mail Order

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Flexibility Required)

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a temporary assignment in Lexington, KY, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role. The position involves working in a home infusion mail order setting and focuses on sterile compounding and clean room work.

Position Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for direct hire
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (may require flexibility to stay later to complete late orders)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding and clean room duties
• Ensure accurate preparation and dispensing of medications
• Manage and organize workflow to handle late orders as needed

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Experience with sterile compounding is preferred
• Valid Kentucky Pharmacy Technician License
• PTCB Certification is not required initially, but will be necessary if transitioning to a permanent role (must obtain within 1 year of hire)
