Position: Pharmacy Technician (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: New Orleans, LA
Shifts: Rotating between 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support our hospital pharmacy team. You will be responsible for filling medication orders, delivering meds, managing automated dispensing systems (like OmniCell), and more. Don t worry if you re new to some systems we provide training!

Key Responsibilities:

• Process medication orders using EPIC.
• Deliver medications within the hospital.
• Assist with auto cart filling and manage OmniCell systems.

What We re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC and Omnicell systems (training available).
• IV preparation experience is a plus, though not mandatory.
• Must hold a valid Louisiana pharmacy technician license.
• PTCB certification is preferred but not essential.
