Pharmacy Technician Order Entry Dayton OH

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Ohio-Licensed Pharmacy Technician for an Order Entry position in Troy, OH. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers consistent hours with rotating shifts and every other weekend.

Shift Options:

• 1st Shift: 10:00 AM 6:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order entry for new prescriptions, DCs, STAT orders, Accuflow Change Logs, mail orders, CII evaluations, blister management, and patient admissions.
• Utilize Framework and DocuTrack for accurate prescription and patient data entry.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies, follow up with customers, and resolve any issues, including illegible prescriptions or medication concerns.
• Collaborate with Order Entry leadership to meet departmental goals and improve workflows.
• Provide excellent customer service, including answering phones and assisting with customer needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician License in good standing.
• Previous pharmacy order entry experience is required.
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in pharmacy software systems.
• Solid understanding of medical terminology, drug knowledge, and pharmacy operations.
• Math and analytical skills, including prescription calculations.
• LTC pharmacy experience (2+ years preferred).
