Shift Hours: Mid Shift, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with Rotating Weekends

Job Summary: We are currently hiring a skilled Pharmacy Technician for an Order Entry role based in Albuquerque, NM. This position offers mid shift hours from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including rotating weekends. The role starts as a 12-week temporary assignment with the potential to transition into a permanent position, contingent on performance and organizational needs.

Primary Duties:

• Efficiently process and input medication orders for long-term care patients.
• Confirm prescription details and ensure the accurate dispensing of medications.
• Engage with healthcare providers and patients to clarify and discuss medication orders.
• Maintain precise and current records of medication orders and associated transactions.
• Comply with all pharmacy regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Long-term care experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must hold a valid Pharmacy Technician License in New Mexico.
