Pharmacy Technician - Order Entry - Troy, Ohio

A long-term care pharmacy in Troy, OH, is seeking a full-time Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join their team. This role involves order entry, troubleshooting discrepancies, and ensuring accurate prescription processing. Multiple shifts are available.

Duties:

• Order Entry for new prescriptions, DC s, STAT orders, mail orders, and CII evaluations.
• Work with Accuflow Change logs, blister management, and patient admissions into the pharmacy system.
• Utilize Framework/DocuTrack for accurate data entry and timely prescription processing.
• Research and troubleshoot prescription or patient data entry discrepancies.
• Resolve discrepancies related to illegible prescriptions or other medication concerns.
• Collaborate with Order Entry leadership to achieve department goals.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and communication.
• Answer telephone inquiries as needed.

Schedule/Shift:

• Multiple shifts available (to be discussed during the hiring process).

Requirements:

• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician License in good standing.
• Previous Pharmacy Order Entry experience is required.
• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate pharmacy systems.
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge.
• Strong math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations.
• Preferred: Minimum 2 years of experience in a long-term care pharmacy.
