Location: Indianapolis, IN
Environment: Mail Order and Specialty Retail

Description: This role involves supporting pharmacy operations by managing inbound client calls, accurately performing order entry, verifying insurance information, and maintaining inventory control. You will work closely with pharmacists, doctors, and clients to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of prescriptions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound client calls, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries.
• Perform order entry and prescription processing with high attention to detail.
• Verify insurance information to ensure eligibility and coverage for prescriptions.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring that stock levels are sufficient and medications are properly stored.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, doctors, and pharmacists to address prescription needs, issues, or concerns.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a stable daytime schedule.

Requirements:

• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience in retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy environments.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, healthcare providers, and pharmacists.
• Proficient data entry skills to ensure accuracy in prescription and patient information.
• Must hold an Indiana pharmacy technician license.
