Full-Time Pharmacy Technician (Temp to Perm) - Specialty Pharmacy - Austin, TX

RPH on the go is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for a temp-to-perm position at a specialty pharmacy in Austin, TX. This is a great opportunity for an experienced pharmacy technician looking to expand their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. Some travel to support other Austin locations may be required.

Duties:

• Prepare medications by counting, pouring, mixing, and packaging pharmaceuticals.
• Label containers and enter prescription information into the system.
• Verify insurance benefits and handle payment transactions at the Point of Service (POS).
• Interact with patients, case managers, and insurance companies to maintain positive relationships.
• Coordinate prescription deliveries and manage reports and correspondence.
• Address and resolve issues proactively while embracing the company's core values.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Schedule/Shift:

• Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Wednesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM - 8:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• Some travel to support other Austin pharmacy locations may be required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; an Associate's degree or higher in a related health field is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Must be registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy (BOP) and State Certified as a Pharmacy Technician.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills and experience with pharmacy software preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a positive, flexible attitude.

Program System:

• Pioneer RX experience is an asset.
