Pharmacy Technician Syracuse NY

A well-established long-term care pharmacy in Syracuse, NY, is looking for Production Pharmacy Technicians to join its growing team. This role is perfect for experienced long-term care or retail pharmacy technicians who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. This is a full-time, direct hire role.

Available Shifts

• 2nd Shift: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (eligible for up to $3.00/hour shift differential)

Key Responsibilities

• Process prescription orders received via phone or in person.
• Accurately pull, package, and label medications for dispensing.
• Conduct inventory checks and assist with medication returns.
• Scan products for accuracy and notify the pharmacist of any discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and pharmacy protocols.
• Keep workstations organized and replenish stock as necessary.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of pharmacy technician experience in a high-volume retail or long-term care setting.
• Pharmacy technician license preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Frameworks and DocuTrack software is a plus.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay Rate: $20+ per hour, depending on experience
