Pharmacy Technician - Temp to Perm - Akron, OH

RPh on the Go is looking for a pharmacy technician to join our team in Akron, Ohio. This is a 12 week temp to perm position and we are currently interviewing to start ASAP.

Shifts:
Monday to Friday: 8:30AM-4:30PM

Overview:

• Read and interpret physician's medication orders
• Prepare and package medications and other medications requiring special handling in accordance with safety measures
• Aid in filling, processing, and dispensing medications
• Re-package and label medications
• Adhere to safety practices in order to ensure quality care for patients
• Help maintain the drug inventory through inventory control practices
• Provide customer service by answering phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner
• Triage medication requests and prioritize them
• Manage medication inventory via cycle counts, returns, and other routine processes

Requirements:

• Ohio pharmacy technician license
• PTCB preferred (required to obtain within a year of hire- client will train)
• At least 2 years of pharmacy experience
