Pharmacy Technician Order Entry (Full-Time, Direct Hire) Troy, Ohio

Available Shifts:

• Monday to Friday with alternating weekends
• Choose from 3 flexible shifts:
• Day Shift: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
• Night Shift: 10:30 PM 7:00 AM

About the Role: We re looking for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team! In this crucial role, you ll ensure prescription orders are entered accurately, troubleshoot discrepancies, and work in close collaboration with pharmacists to deliver high-quality patient care. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter prescriptions and patient details into the system with precision
• Identify and resolve any issues with prescription or patient data
• Collaborate with leadership to meet operational goals and streamline processes
• Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers
• Stay current on medical terminology, pharmaceuticals, and order entry protocols

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Active Ohio State Pharmacy Technician License in good standing
• Prior Order Entry Pharmacy Technician experience required
• Proficiency in computer systems and pharmacy software
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmacology
• Excellent math and analytical skills, especially for calculations
• Preferred: Minimum of 2 years working in a long-term care pharmacy setting
