Pharmacy Technician-Warwick RI

RPh on the Go is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a Temp to Direct Hire opportunity. The role is located in Rhode Island and offers the chance to join a team committed to delivering quality pharmaceutical services.

This position requires an individual with a strong background in pharmacy operations, including prescription filling, packaging, and inventory management. Previous experience in long-term care (LTC) is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prescription Filling: Accurately fill prescription items in accordance with state and federal regulations, as permitted by the Rhode Island State Board of Pharmacy.
• Medication Packaging & Labeling: Package medications for dispensing and delivery, ensuring all products are labeled correctly, including cautionary and auxiliary labels as necessary.
• Inventory Management: Assist in managing the pharmacy's inventory by tracking and maintaining stock levels, conducting routine checks, and supporting periodic inventory audits.
• Quality & Productivity Standards: Ensure that all tasks are completed with a high degree of accuracy while meeting productivity standards set by the organization.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least one year of pharmacy technician experience required. Long-term care (LTC) experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Licensing: Must be licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Rhode Island.
• Skills: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and strong communication abilities.

Work Schedule:

• Shifts: Monday through Friday, rotating weekends
• Hours: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
