Job Summary:
RPh on the Go is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist in Charge or Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Bryan, Texas. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Pharmacist in Charge:
o Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, including staff supervision, inventory control, and regulatory compliance.
o Ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with all applicable laws, including Texas State Board of Pharmacy rules and federal regulations.
o Oversee patient safety and medication management protocols.
o Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled substances, and inventory.
o Train and supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and support personnel.
o Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication therapy.
o Develop and maintain relationships with patients, ensuring excellent customer service.

Staff Pharmacist:
o Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
o Counsel patients on the proper use of medications and potential side effects.
o Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and therapeutic appropriateness.
o Collaborate with healthcare professionals to manage patient medication therapy.
o Ensure compliance with Texas pharmacy laws and regulations.
o Maintain inventory control and ensure the proper handling of pharmaceuticals.
o Provide immunization services and other clinical programs as needed.
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed Pharmacist in the state of Texas, in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
PharmD degree or equivalent from an accredited college of pharmacy.
For Pharmacist in Charge: Minimum of 2-3 years of pharmacy management experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy regulations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficient in pharmacy management software and electronic health records.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
