PRN Pharmacist around Rowland, NC

Job Title: PRN Pharmacist
Locations: Red Springs, Rowland, and Pembroke, NC (Community/Retail Pharmacies)

Current Needs:

• Red Springs, NC: August 30 and September 6, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Ongoing PRN Opportunities Available

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Duties:

• Perform all basic functions of a retail pharmacist.
• Verify prescriptions.
• Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians.
• Provide patient counseling.
• Administer vaccinations as needed.
• Manage prescription volumes varying between 150-350 per day across different locations.

Program System:

• Software: Computer RX or Transaction Data Systems

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing (no negative history).
• Flexibility with schedule and availability to meet the needs of the pharmacies.
• Experience with Computer RX or Transaction Data Systems preferred but not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certified to administer immunizations.
