RPh on the Go is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced PRN Pharmacist to provide temporary coverage at a well-established retail pharmacy in Ridgely, MD. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists who are looking to supplement their current work schedule with flexible, short-term assignments while maintaining meaningful patient interaction in a community-oriented setting.

Position Summary:

As a PRN Pharmacist, you will play a key role in supporting daily pharmacy operations, ensuring prescriptions are accurately dispensed, and providing high-quality patient care. You ll work closely with pharmacy technicians and patients to maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant pharmacy environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify, process, and dispense prescription medications

• Provide clear, compassionate counseling and medication guidance to patients

• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency

• Ensure strict compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations

• Maintain a professional and welcoming presence with both staff and customers

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Pharmacist License in good standing

• Recent retail pharmacy experience required (within the last 12 months)

• Strong understanding of retail pharmacy systems, insurance billing, and medication safety protocols

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently

• Adaptable to new systems, settings, and workflows
