PRN Pharmacist - Ongoing Needs - Red Springs, NC

Position: PRN Pharmacist
Location: Red Springs, NC (with 3 nearby locations, 15 minutes apart)
Term of Assignment:

• Current needs: Aug 30 and Sept 6 (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
• Ongoing PRN needs across the 3 locations.

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

About the Client:
Community/Retail Pharmacies located in small rural areas of North Carolina.

Duties:

• Perform all essential retail pharmacist functions.
• Verify prescriptions.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians.
• Provide patient counseling.
• Administer vaccinations (if necessary).
• Handle a varying volume of prescriptions, between 150-350 per day.
• Utilize Computer RX or Transaction Data Systems (preferred).

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina State Pharmacist license (no negative history).
• Flexibility with scheduling to meet client and pharmacy needs.
• Experience with Computer RX or Transaction Data Systems preferred but not required.
• BLS Certification.
• Certified Immunizer.
• Ideal for someone seeking a flexible schedule, such as semi-retired individuals or stay-at-home parents not ready for full-time work.
