RPh on the Go is hiring a PRN Outpatient Pharmacist for ongoing coverage at a respected pharmacy in California. This flexible, part-time opportunity is ideal for pharmacists seeking a supportive team environment new graduates are welcome to apply!

Position Details:

• Type: PRN ongoing
• Schedule: Monday Friday, with occasional weekends
• Hours: Between 8:00 AM 7:00 PM (varied coverage based on need)
• Environment: Outpatient / Community Pharmacy

Job Description:
The pharmacist will support the team by providing coverage during vacations and busy periods. Flexibility and reliability are key in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and counsel patients as needed
• Verify and interpret prescription orders
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medication records and assess for drug interactions
• Manage inventory, order and restock medications as needed
• Guide customers on over-the-counter products and health concerns
• Address patient inquiries and ensure high-quality customer service
• Adhere to all applicable federal and state pharmacy regulations

Requirements:

• Active and clear California Pharmacist License
• Recent pharmacy experience
• Outpatient pharmacy experience is a plus
• Flexible availability is essential
