RPh on the go is searching for a PRN Retail Pharmacist to work 11 day assignment. The ideal candidate will have a year or more experience.

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm


  1. Dispensing Medications: Your primary responsibility is to accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients. This involves interpreting prescriptions, checking for drug interactions, and ensuring the correct dosage and instructions are provided.

  2. Patient Counseling: You'll often interact directly with patients, providing them with information about their medications, including potential side effects, proper usage, and any precautions they need to take. Patient counseling plays a crucial role in ensuring medication adherence and patient safety.

  3. Medication Management: Beyond dispensing medications, you'll also be involved in medication management, which includes tasks such as inventory management, ordering medications, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  4. Collaboration: Retail pharmacists often collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care. This may involve clarifying prescriptions, discussing medication options, or providing input on treatment plans.

  5. Health Promotion: In addition to dispensing medications, retail pharmacists may also provide health and wellness services, such as administering vaccinations, conducting health screenings, and offering advice on over-the-counter medications and supplements.

  6. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service is essential in a retail pharmacy setting. This includes addressing patient concerns, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise in a professional and courteous manner.
