RPH on the go is seeking PRN Pharmacists for ongoing coverage needs between 3 Community/Retail Pharmacies located in small rural areas of North Carolina. The pharmacies are conveniently located within 15 minutes of each other and offer a flexible schedule perfect for semi-retired pharmacists or those looking for part-time opportunities.

Duties:

  • Perform all standard functions of a retail pharmacist, including verifying prescriptions and overseeing pharmacy technicians.
  • Provide patient counseling and customer service.
  • Administer vaccinations as needed.
  • Adapt to variable prescription volumes ranging from 150 to 350 prescriptions per day depending on the location.

Pharmacy Hours:

  • Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:30 AM 12:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed
  • Assignments are PRN with flexible scheduling based on pharmacy needs.

Requirements:

  • Licensure:
  • Active North Carolina Pharmacist License in good standing.
  • Certifications:
  • BLS Certification required.
  • Certified Immunizer preferred.

    Program System:

  • Computer RX or Transaction Data Systems. Training provided if necessary.
