PRN Pharmacist (Saturdays Only)

Location: New York City, NY (Near Central Park)
Term of Assignment: PRN (Saturdays 9 AM - 2 PM, ongoing needs)

RPh on the go is currently seeking a PRN Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team near Central Park. This per diem position is ideal for a pharmacist who can commit to working every Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM. We are also open to considering two pharmacists who can each commit to working two Saturdays per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC).
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, students/interns, and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with all professional policies and procedures.
• Dispense medications accurately, following the prescriptions provided by healthcare practitioners.
• Provide high-quality customer service and patient care.

Requirements:

• Licensing: Must hold a current and active New York State Pharmacist license with no negative history.
• Experience:
  • Previous experience in Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy is required.
  • Experience with Pioneer Rx software is preferred.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity is required for medication dispensing tasks.
