PRN Pharmacist- Virginia Beach, VA

RPh on the go is actively seeking a PRN Pharmacist in the Virginia Beach area. The first dates are Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:30pm 9/25-9/28.

Overview:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide counseling to patients on medication use.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate drug therapy and monitor patient outcomes.
• Prepare non-sterile compounded medications, such as creams, ointments, and capsules, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain inventory of compounding ingredients and ensure proper storage and labeling.
• Provide guidance and support to pharmacy technicians in compounding procedures.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements, including record-keeping, documentation, and quality assurance in compounding practices.

Requirements:

• VA Pharmacist license
• 1+ year or more of recent retail experience
• 1+ year or more of recent non-sterile compounding experience
