PRN Retail Staff Pharmacist - Birmingham, AL

RPh on the Go is seeking a qualified Retail Staff Pharmacist for PRN coverage in Birmingham, Alabama. This position offers a flexible schedule with specific dates and ongoing needs, ideal for a pharmacist looking to supplement their income with additional work.

Assignment Dates:

• Sept 13
• Oct 11
• Oct 29
• Oct 30
• Plus ongoing needs Training will be provided prior to the first assignment date.

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Oversee and manage pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a busy independent/specialty pharmacy environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Alabama State Pharmacist license with no negative history.
• 2+ years of recent experience as a retail staff pharmacist.
• Experience managing a team, including at least one pharmacy technician.
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX software is a plus.
