Research Pharmacist IV Compounding | Clinical Research Focus - New York

RPh on the Go is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Research Pharmacist to join a well-established hospital team in New York City. This role is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of sterile compounding and clinical research, contributing to critical clinical trials and investigational drug studies.
Position Overview
As a Research Pharmacist, you will play an integral role in supporting clinical research teams and ensuring the accurate and compliant preparation of investigational IV medications. This includes working in a sterile environment, managing documentation, and maintaining regulatory standards in accordance with USP <797>, <800>, and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and compound IV medications within USP <797> and <800> standards

Support clinical trial protocols and investigational drug services

Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and tracking of investigational drugs

Collaborate with research and clinical teams to meet study requirements

Maintain compliance with hospital SOPs, state board rules, and federal regulations

Participate in internal and external audits; support ongoing quality assurance
Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted New York Pharmacist License

Minimum of 2 years experience in a hospital pharmacy setting

Proven expertise in sterile compounding and cleanroom operations

Experience using EHR systems such as Cerner or EPIC

Previous experience with clinical research or investigational drug services
