Exciting Opportunity: Retail / LTC Pharmacist 30+ Hours per Week

Work Schedule: Ongoing, 3-4 Days per Week

Pharmacy Operating Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM 7 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM 6 PM

Shift Details:
We re looking for a reliable pharmacist to work 8-hour shifts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with occasional weekend shifts based on flexibility.

Position Overview:
As a pharmacist in this position, you'll provide critical services in both retail and long-term care (LTC) settings. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, delivering patient education, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver top-notch care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications efficiently and with accuracy to patients
• Verify medication prepacks in a Long-Term Care (LTC) environment
• Counsel patients and provide thorough medication therapy management
• Administer vaccines and other health services to eligible patients
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes
• Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory levels
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and pharmacy regulations

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in both Retail and LTC settings preferred
• At least 1 year of recent experience as a pharmacist
• Must have completed an immunization certification program
• Active and clear CT Pharmacist License
