Staff Pharmacist Retail Mail Order (Temp-to-Hire, 13 Weeks)
Location: Fairfield, OH

Schedule Options:

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

• Evening Shift: 4:00 PM 12:00 AM

Position Overview:
We re actively hiring licensed pharmacists for a temp-to-perm opportunity within a fast-paced mail order pharmacy environment. This role requires strong oversight of pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance, safety, and timely delivery of medications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and data entry staff to ensure efficient processing and order accuracy.

• Monitor prescription workflows, ensuring timely preparation and dispatch of medications.

• Review and verify all incoming prescriptions for accuracy, dosing, and potential drug interactions.

• Maintain strict compliance around controlled substances, including accurate inventory tracking and proper documentation, particularly for Schedule II medications.

• Support quality assurance protocols and promote a secure, organized pharmacy work area.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Ohio Pharmacist license (required)

• Experience in a high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy setting is strongly preferred

• Excellent attention to detail and strong leadership skills in a team-oriented environment
