Retail Pharmacist 24-30 Hours Per Week

Staff Pharmacist Retail/LTC | 30+ Hours/Week

Position Type: Ongoing, 3-4 days per week

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM - 7 PM
• Saturday: 9 AM - 6 PM

Shift Schedule: Looking for a reliable candidate to work 8-hour shifts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with some weekend rotation flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficient Medication Dispensing: Accurately fill prescriptions and ensure proper medication use.
• LTC Experience: Manage medication prepacks and verification in Long-Term Care environments.
• Patient Education: Offer Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and provide valuable counseling to patients.
• Vaccination Services: Administer vaccines and contribute to patients' well-being.
• Collaborative Care: Partner with other healthcare providers to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Inventory Control: Keep track of pharmaceutical stock to ensure accurate inventory management.
• Compliance: Stay up to date with all regulations and ensure adherence to legal and safety standards.

What You Need to Apply:

• LTC & Retail Background: Experience in both Long-Term Care and Retail settings is highly preferred.
• 1+ Year of Recent Pharmacist Experience: Candidates should have at least one year of hands-on experience.
• Immunization Certification: Must have completed an accredited immunization training program.
• Active CT Pharmacist License: A current, clear CT Pharmacist license is required.
