Location: Alexandria Bay, NY
Shift: Monday Friday 9:00am-5:30pm, Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm, and work every 3rd weekend
Are you a dedicated and experienced pharmacist seeking a rewarding opportunity in the retail sector? We have an immediate opening for a Retail Staff Pharmacist in Alexandria Bay, NY. As a retail staff pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of the Pharmacy department, ensuring accurate prescription dispensing, and providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance: Perform all quality assurance steps to ensure the technically accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
• Third-Party Claims: Oversee the initial submission, resubmission, and collection of all third-party claims.
• Inventory Management: Manage and balance the pharmacy inventory to maximize stock turnover.
• Outstanding Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.
• Team Management: Supervise and manage technicians to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional customer service.
• Prescription Accuracy: Ensure that all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Medication Therapy Management (MT) and Immunization Management (IMMR): Perform medication therapy management and immunization management as required.

Requirements:

• Previous retail pharmacy experience.
• Active and clear New York State pharmacist license.
