Pharmacist (Evening Shift) 13-Week Temp-to-Perm Position | Fairfield, OH

Shift Hours: 12:00 PM 8:00 PM
Position Type: Temporary with potential for permanent hire

Important Note: The pharmacy has experienced a significant increase in volume, so this is a high-paced environment!

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Pharmacy Staff: Manage pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks, ensuring accurate data entry, proper workflow, security, and adherence to delivery schedules. Supervise ordering and prepacking tasks performed by the pharmacy team.
• Medication Screening: Review all new medication orders to confirm correct dosages, check for drug interactions, allergies, and potential contraindications prior to dispensing.
• Controlled Substance Management: Assist with the handling, ordering, receiving, documentation, and storage of controlled substances. Help maintain an accurate inventory of Schedule II drugs.

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist License: Must be clear and in good standing.
• Experience: Background in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy is a plus.
