Retail Pharmacist Full-Time Position | Fairfield, OH

Location: Fairfield, Ohio
Schedule Options:

• Morning Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

• Evening Shift: 4:00 PM 12:00 AM
  Applicants must be available for one of the above fixed shifts.

About the Role:
We re partnering with a reputable, high-volume retail pharmacy in Fairfield to find a licensed, detail-focused pharmacist. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured environment and is confident managing both medication safety and technician workflow.

Primary Duties:

• Supervise pharmacy staff including techs and data entry clerks to ensure accurate prescription processing

• Monitor day-to-day operations for compliance, workflow efficiency, and security protocols

• Review all new prescriptions for proper dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and potential contraindications before dispensing

• Support the accurate handling, tracking, and documentation of controlled substances especially Schedule II medications

• Oversee and approve prepacking and inventory tasks handled by the pharmacy technicians

What We re Looking For:

• Valid, active Ohio pharmacist license (required)

• Prior experience in a high-volume retail setting or compounding pharmacy is a strong plus

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• A dependable professional who can step into a leadership role immediately
