Full-Time Staff Pharmacist 13-Week Contract with Potential for Permanent Position

Location: Fairfield, OH
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM 4:00 PM)

Position Summary:
We re seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a full-time position in Fairfield, OH. This is a 13-week contract with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role. If you re passionate about patient care and enjoy overseeing pharmacy operations, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks, ensuring smooth workflow, accurate data entry, and a secure pharmacy environment.

• Manage medication ordering and prepacking processes handled by pharmacy staff.

• Screen new medication orders for accuracy, including dose verification, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing.

• Support the handling, receiving, and storage of controlled substances while ensuring proper documentation and maintaining an inventory for Schedule II drugs.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist License

• Experience in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy is highly preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
