Pharmacist in Charge
Location: Crandon, WI
Take charge of a pharmacy's day-to-day operations as a Pharmacist in Charge in a professional and customer-focused environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all daily pharmacy operations.
• Communicate with medical personnel and customers, providing guidance on side effects, drug interactions, and dosages.
• Supervise pharmacy staff, including nonprofessional assistants, and provide in-service training.
• Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations, including the Drug Quality & Security Act.
• Oversee claims processing and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records of all prescription drugs, including controlled substances, and ensure proper storage and security of medications.
• Report shortages or theft of controlled substances to law enforcement, the DEA, and relevant divisions.
• Document and complete Adverse Drug Event forms as necessary.
• Participate in filling and dispensing medications, providing hands-on leadership in pharmacy operations.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 12:00 PM

Requirements:

• Active and clear Wisconsin Pharmacist License.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent pharmacy experience, with retail experience preferred.
• 2+ years of recent experience as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC).
