• Monday Saturday, 8:00 AM 6:00 PM

Job Summary:

The Retail Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and dispensing both prescription and nonprescription medications to patients. They will play an active role in addressing prescription concerns, advising healthcare providers on medication selection, dosage, interactions, and potential side effects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, interpret, and dispense medications accurately.

• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, storage, and expected responses.

• Monitor patient health and progress in response to drug therapy.

• Provide oversight and clinical supervision for pharmacy support staff.

• Stay up-to-date with new pharmacy technologies and evolving industry standards.

Requirements:

• Active Minnesota Pharmacist License (in good standing).

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.

• Pharmacy Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.

• Strong knowledge of drug actions, state/local regulations, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification.

• Immunization Certification.

• At least one (1) year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
