Retail Pharmacist - International Falls, MN

We are seeking a licensed Retail Pharmacist for a direct hire opportunity in Minnesota.

Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 8:00 AM 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Review, interpret, and dispense prescription and nonprescription medications.
• Respond to prescription issues and advise providers on medication selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects.
• Counsel patients on proper medication administration, side effects, storage, and other inquiries.
• Monitor patient health and progress in response to drug therapy.
• Provide clinical supervision for pharmacy support personnel.
• Adapt to new technology and advancements in the pharmacy profession.

Requirements:

• Active MN Pharmacist License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Thorough knowledge of drugs and their actions; understanding of state and local regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Immunization certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail pharmacy.
