Retail Pharmacist (Ongoing PRN Coverage) Vernon, CT

We are seeking a Connecticut-licensed Pharmacist for a per diem opportunity in a retail pharmacy in Vernon. While the initial coverage is for two dates in June, there is the potential for ongoing relief opportunities.

Schedule:

• Thursday, June 5 | 3:00 PM 7:00 PM

• Friday, June 13 | 3:00 PM 7:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently pursuant to prescription orders

• Monitor patient drug therapies and identify potential therapeutic incompatibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and accurate information regarding prescriptions and health-related inquiries

• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations

• Manage inventory, ensure security of the pharmacy, and support clinical initiatives such as immunizations and medication therapy management

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain workflow efficiency

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted CT Pharmacist License

• Prior retail pharmacy experience required

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a busy retail setting
