Job Title: Retail Pharmacist - Flexible and Accommodating

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Saturday to Sunday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Requirements:

• Active and clear New Jersey Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1+ years of recent retail pharmacy experience
• Knowledge of Prime Rx preferred

Job Description:

Are you an experienced pharmacist looking for a flexible and accommodating work schedule? Rph on the Go is seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacist to join our team. Responsibilities:

As a Retail Pharmacist at our establishment, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

1. Checking Technician Work: Review and verify the accuracy of prescriptions and medication orders filled by pharmacy technicians, ensuring they meet all legal and safety requirements.

2. Medication Verification: Accurately dispense and verify prescription medications, ensuring patients receive the correct dosage and medication as prescribed by healthcare providers.

3. Counseling Patients: Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and answer any questions or concerns they may have regarding their medications.

4. Ensuring Compliance: Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practice, including safety and record-keeping requirements.

5. Inventory Management: Assist in managing pharmacy inventory, including ordering, restocking, and monitoring medication supplies.

6. Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service to all patients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear New Jersey Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1+ years of recent retail pharmacy experience.
• Knowledge of Prime Rx pharmacy software is preferred.
