Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Retail Pharmacist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and dispensing both prescription and nonprescription medications to our valued patients. You will actively engage with healthcare providers, offering expert guidance on medication selection, dosage, interactions, and potential side effects.

Key responsibilities include counseling patients on medication use, monitoring their progress, and ensuring the safe and effective administration of prescribed therapies. As the role evolves, you will utilize cutting-edge technology to stay ahead of trends in the pharmacy profession. Additionally, you will provide oversight and clinical supervision for pharmacy support personnel to ensure exceptional service and compliance with pharmacy practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, interpret, and dispense prescriptions accurately
• Advise healthcare providers on medication management, including dosage and potential side effects
• Provide counseling to patients on proper medication administration, expected outcomes, and any concerns they may have
• Monitor patient responses to drug therapy and adjust treatments as necessary
• Stay up-to-date on new pharmacy technology and implement best practices
• Oversee and supervise pharmacy support personnel to ensure smooth operations and adherence to clinical standards

Required Qualifications:

• MN Pharmacist License
• BLS Certification
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy
• Comprehensive knowledge of drugs, their actions, and relevant state and local regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• ACLS Certification
• Immunization Certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail pharmacy
