Retail Pharmacist (Travel Contract) - 13+ Weeks

RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Travel Retail Pharmacist for an Independent Outpatient Pharmacy in Oregon!

We are seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join a respected independent pharmacy team with three locations within a 5-mile radius. This is a great opportunity for pharmacists who enjoy variety in their work and thrive in a community-focused environment. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

Position Overview:

• Type: Travel Pharmacist (Retail/Outpatient Independent Pharmacy)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks with potential for extension
• Shifts: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Schedule: Monday through Saturday; morning start times (between 7am and 8am); includes some Saturdays
• No overnight shifts
• Work Environment: Independent retail pharmacy (not a chain)

Locations: Three pharmacy sites within 5 miles of each other; weekly schedules will be provided in advance

Travel: Paid/reimbursed travel and lodging support

Compensation: Competitive pay with untaxed stipends available for housing and meals (if applicable)

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions, perform final verification, and provide clear, compassionate counseling to patients on proper medication usage, side effects, and storage
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws
• Ensure inventory is managed properly
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
• Build strong relationships with patients and staff in a friendly, independent pharmacy setting, offering personalized care and promoting wellness initiatives

Requirements:

• Active and clear Oregon Pharmacist license
• 1+ years of retail/outpatient pharmacy experience preferred (new grads welcome!)
• Full-time availability for 13 weeks or longer
• Comfortable floating between three locations as scheduled
