Retail Pharmacist (Travel) - Rapid City

RPh on the Go is actively seeking a Retail Pharmacist for a 13+ week assignment inside a grocery store pharmacy in Rapid City, SD. This is a part-time opportunity (30 hours per week) with a likely schedule of Monday Friday, 10:00 AM 5:00 PM. The hired pharmacist will serve as the second pharmacist in the pharmacy.

Position Details:

• 13+ week contract with potential for extension
• 30 hours per week
• Grocery store pharmacy setting
• Likely schedule: Monday Friday, 10:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Serving as the second pharmacist

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties
• Fill prescriptions and check technician work for accuracy
• Answer patient and provider calls as needed
• Provide counseling to patients on medications and treatment plans
• Assist the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with any additional responsibilities

Requirements:

• Active and clear South Dakota Pharmacist license
• 1+ year of recent retail pharmacy experience
