Full-time (40 hours/week)

We are seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract in Lewiston, ME. The pharmacy operates Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be a reliable team player, with a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service in a busy pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and ensure proper data entry.
• Package medications for customers and mail orders.
• Assist with inventory management and medication storage.
• Operate Pioneer computer system and Script Pro robot.
• Provide support to the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with various pharmacy tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment while adhering to pharmacy safety protocols.
• Additional duties as assigned by the PIC.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent pharmacy technician experience (preferably in a retail or mail order setting).
• Active Maine Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Experience with Pioneer computer system and Script Pro robotic system is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be willing to work 40 hours a week, including weekends if needed.
• Ability to handle a high volume of prescriptions (approx. 300 scripts/day, with 10% being mail order).

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling with a commitment to working 40 hours per week is required.

Compensation:
