Retail Pharmacy Technician - 13-Week Contract
Location: Lewiston, ME
Duration: 13 weeks
Full-Time (40 hours/week)

We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Pharmacy Technician to join our team for a 13-week contract in Lewiston, ME. This role is perfect for someone with retail or mail order pharmacy experience who is looking for a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. You will be supporting the pharmacy team in fulfilling prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a high level of customer service.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Prescription Processing: Accurately filling prescriptions and performing data entry.
• Packaging & Mail Orders: Preparing and packaging medications for customers and mail order.
• Inventory Control: Assisting with medication storage and inventory management.
• Technology Use: Operating the Pioneer computer system and Script Pro robotic system.
• Team Support: Providing assistance to the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with a variety of pharmacy tasks.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment while following safety protocols.
• Additional Tasks: Performing other duties as assigned by the PIC.

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a retail or mail order setting.
• Active Maine Pharmacy Technician License is required.
• Familiarity with Pioneer and Script Pro systems is a plus but not mandatory.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week, including weekends as needed.
• Comfortable handling a high prescription volume (around 300 scripts/day, with about 10% being mail orders).

Work Schedule:

• Monday Friday: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Full-time commitment required, with flexibility to work weekends.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience.
