Retail Pharmacy Technician - Norwood, NY

Location: Norwood, NY

Shifts: Includes day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts

Scope of Responsibilities: As a Retail Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, following standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

Job Duties:

• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues for assigned facilities.
• Accurately enter patient profiles and medication data.
• Maintain precise information for patients and facilities.
• Ensure billing and crediting for each facility is done accurately each month.
• Data entry tasks.
• May be required to travel to individual homes for meetings or drug exchanges.
• Exhibit strong customer service and communication skills.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
• Utilize organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently.

Experience:

• Hospital, Long-term Care, or Retail pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.
• 3-6 months of experience as a pharmacy technician is desirable.

Job Requirements:

• New York Pharmacy Technician license (NY Pharmacy Technician License).
• PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification is required.
