Join Our Team as a Staff Pharmacist 13-Week Contract with Permanent Opportunity

Shift Hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (Day Shift)
Location: Fairfield, OH

We are on the lookout for a Staff Pharmacist to join our growing team for a 13-week contract with the chance to transition into a permanent position. If you're passionate about making a difference in the pharmacy field and enjoy a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities Include:

• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks to ensure efficient data entry, secure pharmacy practices, and adherence to prescribed delivery schedules.

• Oversee the ordering and prepacking tasks handled by pharmacy technicians.

• Thoroughly review medication orders to ensure the correct dose, identify potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing.

• Assist with the proper management and documentation of controlled substances, including maintaining accurate inventory for Schedule II drugs.

What We re Looking For:

• A current, active pharmacist license in Ohio.

• Experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy or compounding pharmacy is a plus.
