Full-Time Staff Pharmacist 13-Week Contract with Potential for Permanent Position

Location: Fairfield, OH
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM 4:00 PM)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated, full-time Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract role that could lead to a permanent position. Join a dynamic team in Fairfield, OH, and play a key role in managing pharmacy operations, ensuring patient safety, and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks to maintain efficient workflows, secure pharmacy environments, and ensure accurate data entry.

• Oversee the ordering and prepacking processes handled by pharmacy technicians.

• Review new medication orders for proper dosages, potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing.

• Assist with the handling, ordering, and storage of controlled substances, maintaining accurate records for Schedule II drugs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid and active Ohio Pharmacist License

• Previous experience in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy is an asset

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
