Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Retail Staff Pharmacist to join our new specialty pharmacy in Montgomery. This role offers a family-oriented work environment and provides the opportunity for flexible PRN coverage. The pharmacy will notify you 1-2 months in advance for ongoing needs, and training will be provided prior to your assignment dates.

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Saturday: Closed
• Sunday: Closed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and process prescriptions.
• Manage and oversee pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations.
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a bustling independent/specialty pharmacy setting.

Qualifications:

• Active Alabama State Pharmacist License (clean record required).
• At least 2 years of recent experience in retail pharmacy.
• Proven experience in a high-volume independent or specialty pharmacy is preferred.
• Ability to supervise one pharmacy technician effectively.
• Experience with Pioneer RX software is advantageous.
