Contract Type:
13-Week Assignment with Potential for Permanent Position

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday with one weekend shift per month
Hours:

• 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

• 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

• 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Closing shift (11:00 AM 7:00 PM) is typically required once a week

Weekend Hours:
Saturday: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM 5:00 PM

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Southgate, Kentucky. This 13-week contract position offers the potential to become a permanent role. As a Staff Pharmacist, you ll provide excellent pharmaceutical care, counsel patients on their medications, manage prescription orders, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe and effective medication use.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and dispense prescriptions to ensure patients receive the correct medications

• Provide counseling on medication usage, health care advice, and prescription concerns

• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow proper protocols for handling controlled substances

• Work with physicians, utilizing reference materials to resolve prescription-related issues

Qualifications:

• Active, valid Pharmacist license in Kentucky

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience (preferably retail or mail-order)
