Job Description:
RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Staff Pharmacist to join a busy pharmacy in Pittsburgh, PA. As a retail pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions, providing patient counseling, and ensuring the accurate and timely distribution of medications. This is a full-time contract position offering competitive pay and a chance to work in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in accordance with physician prescriptions.
• Provide excellent patient care by offering counseling on medications and possible side effects.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow and accuracy.
• Maintain proper storage and security of medications.
• Manage inventory levels and order medications as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.

Shift:

• Full Time
• 8 hour shifts: 8:00am - 5:00pm or 12 hour shifts: 9:00am - 9:00pm

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• BLS
• Immunization certification
• Covid vaccination
• 1+ years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong understanding of medication management, pharmacy operations, and state regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Customer service-driven mindset with a passion for helping others
