Inpatient Hospital and Long-Term Care Pharmacist
Location: Newcastle, WY
Terms of Assignment: ASAP, 13+ Weeks
Shift: Days, Monday-Friday
As an Inpatient Hospital and Long-Term Care Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients in various settings. Your responsibilities will include:
Clinical Care: Serving as a clinical pharmacist, you will provide care for Long-Term Care, Inpatient, and Outpatient pharmacy services. This includes assessing and reviewing patients' medical statuses and advising on prescribed medications to optimize patient outcomes.
Pharmacy Team Oversight: Providing oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
Reference and Collaboration: Serving as a reference point for medical, nursing staff, and patients, offering your expertise and guidance. Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes.
To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Doctorate in Pharmacy: You must hold a Doctorate in Pharmacy to be considered for this position.
Current Wyoming Pharmacy License: A valid and current Wyoming Pharmacy License is essential for this role.
Exceptional Medical Knowledge: You should possess exceptional knowledge of medical terminology and processes to provide effective pharmaceutical care.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: You must have and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Clinical Experience: Clinical pharmacy and orders management experience is preferred, demonstrating your ability to make critical decisions regarding patient care.
