Rural Retail Pharmacist Opportunity Park River, ND

An independent retail pharmacy in rural North Dakota is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for a full-time contract role. This position is ideal for a pharmacist who enjoys the quiet of small-town life and wants to work in a close-knit, supportive environment. This is a low-volume setting with a strong emphasis on patient care and community relationships.

The role will involve traditional retail pharmacy duties including prescription verification and dispensing, patient counseling, and overseeing daily pharmacy operations and technician workflow. This is a great fit for someone who can work independently, adapts well to rural settings, and is open to a slower, community-focused pace.

Assignment Details:

• 13+ week contract with potential for contract-to-hire or direct hire

• 35 40 hours per week

• Store hours: Monday Friday 8:30am 6:00pm, Saturday 8:30am 1:00pm (Closed Sundays)

• Housing assistance provided; expect a short commute from nearby towns

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted North Dakota Pharmacist License

• At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience

• Strong communication, accuracy, and leadership skills

• Willingness to relocate or commute to a rural setting
