Specialty Compounding Pharmacy Technician Kennett Square, PA

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Pharmacy Technician for an evening shift role at a specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. This is an exciting opportunity for a technician looking to expand their expertise in both non-sterile and sterile compounding in a highly structured and compliance-focused environment. You'll receive cross-training in fulfillment and production, with the goal of mastering the full scope of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards in all compounding procedures

• Read and interpret prescriptions with accuracy; enter orders into pharmacy systems

• Prepare compounded medications according to strict formulations under pharmacist supervision

• Complete and verify formula log sheets and maintain detailed documentation

• Accurately measure, mix, label, and package compounded medications

• Maintain inventory of ingredients, PPE, and compounding supplies

• Support batch preparation, product labeling, and shipping operations

• Ensure all compounded prescriptions are processed and fulfilled on time

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: Various shifts available

• Includes rotating weekends (Saturday or Sunday schedule expected)

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license (PA preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience

• Experience in non-sterile or sterile compounding required

• Strong attendance, attention to detail, and willingness to learn all aspects of production

• PTCB certification preferred
