Specialty Pharmacy Production Pharmacist Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

We are seeking a Production Staff Pharmacist to join a leading specialty compounding pharmacy in Pittsburgh. This is a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity designed for a motivated pharmacist with strong production oversight and compounding experience. Position Details:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday

• Shift options: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM or 11:00 PM 7:00 AM

• Rotating weekends required; ongoing Saturday or Sunday shifts may apply

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and organize daily manufacturing processes to meet production targets.

• Ensure raw materials, packaging materials, and equipment are available and operational.

• Supervise manufacturing processes to maintain compliance with cGMP standards.

• Oversee daily production reporting and maintain equipment readiness.

• Support the Production Manager in aligning operations with company goals and standards.

• Train and supervise production personnel to ensure manufacturing consistency and quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing pharmacist.

• Non-sterile and/or sterile compounding experience required.

• Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations and manufacturing best practices.

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

• Attendance and punctuality are critical for success in this role.
